It's summer so I finally have a chance to breathe. I also have a few minutes to play on the puter.... only to find my long lost blog site that I was going to so diligently post updates for family and friends. {shrugs sheepishly}
I seem to have jumped in without looking to see how deep the water was. I am currently involved with Christian Woman's Job Corp. The Big Spring chapter is called Spring of Siloam. The idea behind CWJC is to give local women a hands up to a better life - whether it be a better job, different skills, a friend, AND/or God. We have been given a facility but it is in need of desperate repair.
I was also just at GA camp (Girls in Action - a Christian girls mission study). Fourteen 1st - 6th graders for 4 days in the west Texas heat. Fun. Really it was! As long as I had my afternoon nap life was good!
Stacy has RA camp (same idea just geared for boys) in a couple of weeks. He has been working 7am - 9pm every day so I am trying to help him out.
Then there is Vacation Bible Study in a a week, which for some strange reason I volunteered to head up meals. I know, I know.
Life is fun... and very busy!
